Finalists across 13 categories have been announced by RHS Britain in Bloom awards 2010. Judging will take place during August for the various awards which seek to recognise “horticultural achievement, environmental responsibility and community participation”.

A key element of this is the successful partnerships within communities “between residents, community groups, local business and the local authority”.

Congratulations to MCPC Software users Bristol City Council and City of Sunderland Council who have both been chosen as finalists for this year’s awards in the “Large City” category.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council has a portfolio of over 3,200 allotment plots spread over 70 sites throughout the city. The latest version of Colony has been chosen to help the Allotments Team develop their service, offering immediate and future benefits to their operational needs.

The comprehensive functionality of Colony 4 had obvious appeal to Allotment Officers and the way in which it can assist with the management of growing waiting lists effectively was important.

As with all new users, we look forward to assisting them with the adoption of Colony and helping them to improve their service in a number of key areas, such as inspections, invoicing, notice letter production, handling enquiries, maintaining records, producing reports...

Much time and effort has been spent enhancing the visual appearance, the ease of use and functionality capabilities of Beach Huts Management Software Version 3 to manage Beach Amenities/assets such as Beach Huts, pods, chalets, homes, bathing cabins......
